A direct-to-film transfer is artwork printed onto a carrier film with a white underbase and adhesive powder. Heat activates the adhesive so the design bonds to the product.
Which fabrics can I use?+
DTF works on many common fabrics, including cotton, polyester, blends, canvas, and performance garments. Always test heat-sensitive materials first.
Do my files need a transparent background?+
Yes, artwork should have the background removed unless you want that background printed. High-resolution PNG files are a dependable choice.
How should finished garments be washed?+
Wait at least 24 hours, turn garments inside out, wash cold with mild detergent, and tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not iron directly on the design.
